Dr. Ang is a dedicated veterinarian whose journey in veterinary medicine began with his Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine and Surgery, which he attained in 2021. Prior to this, he earned a Diploma in Biomedical Science. His passion for animals and fascination with biology and medicine inspired him to pursue a career where he could make a tangible difference in the lives of pets and their owners.

Following his graduation, Benjamin gained valuable experience working in mixed practice, including both general practice and emergency medicine, in Canada and Singapore. His clinical interests led him to emergency medicine, where he thrives on the opportunity to make significant differences in acute and varied cases, from minor injuries to life-threatening emergencies.

Before joining SFAMC, Benjamin served as an underwater combat medic in the Singapore Navy, where he developed a strong foundation in high-pressure, critical care scenarios. He holds a National Veterinary Business Management Certification, which complements his medical expertise with a strong understanding of veterinary practice management.

In his spare time, Benjamin enjoys staying active by hitting the gym, capturing moments through photography, and attending EDM events and Broadway musicals. Though he does not currently have any pets, his dedication to the well-being of animals remains central to both his personal and professional life.
